This is such a diamond in the rough! They have a nice outdoor patio and we were able to watch the Penguins game and enjoy great food and some good beer. The zucchini appetizer is very good, sliced like silver dollars and not planks which was a nice change of pace. The ranch they make there is unbelievable and I highly recommend getting that with the appetizer...
Out of Towner looking for a great spot for pizza and a sandwich. Heard this place was a great hidden gem and it didn't disappoint! Ordered a large pizza with half pepperoni and the pizza was LOADED with pepperoni, it was excellent. I also got a cheesesteak with onions and let me tell you, this was packed with meat, flavorful cheese, the right amount of onions...
We decided to try because of a decent yelp. We were not disappointed at all! We got a medium pizza and a large calzone. The medium was big! And it was delicious! The flavor of the crust was fantastic! The sausage was crumbled and had great flavor. The calzone was AMAZING! The dough was cooked to perfection! It tasted like it had a bit of butter on the top.
Lorenzo's is a family owned business that never fails to disappoint. They're subs are toasted to the perfect crunch and they put so much meat on them. The pizzas have the perfect amount of grease and crunch in the crust but not too much and the homemade sauce really finishes the great pizza. The atmosphere in Lorenzo's is really nice as well...
I used to be a loyal LUCIANO'S customer, and then I found out about LORENZO'S. Sure, it's twice as far from my house, but WOW, they make great pizza! (the best in the South Hills that I have had...)
